Locations
All of our locations are renowned for their beauty, culture, adventure, shopping, entertainment and exploring enjoyment. Our focus for accommodation within these locations is to provide a safe, pleasant, residential experience. Because there is very little high quality residential housing in the downtown areas of the larger cities, our teachers tend to live in the quieter neighborhoods, which are close enough to public transportation to allow easy access to city centers.
Students can choose a location of study which suits them best.
Some students combine an area of personal interest with their language course. We have had students study in Victoria, Canada, when the Wooden Boat show is being hosted in the harbor, in Hawaii where the art of hula can be studied, or in the UK, where European history can be experienced firsthand. Students sometimes choose a location because they are attending an international business conference in that location. These students will usually study Business English in a teachers home prior to attending the conference. Others have been transferred within their job to an English speaking country and will study with Live in Languages before beginning work in their new position. University students can derive much benefit from an English language course prior to the start of their studies at an English speaking university.
We also have adults of all ages, including those who are retired, study with us for the pure enjoyment of learning English while at the same time, experiencing a new and interesting place.
